Food is excellent! Louise herself is very charming and gracious! We haven't been to Paris for several years, but every time we go, we dine with Louise!

My daughter's been craving Coq au Vin yesterday but we couldn't find any restaurant nearby that made this dish. After our louvre museum tour, we decided to grab lunch before heading back home of my friend in Paris. To make things faster, there were many bicycle riders waiting for customers. I asked how much it would be, he was a bit wishy washy saying it was cheap and it was a close, 5 min walk. Later, he demanded more than $100 for the ride. He was ridiculous saying that it was for each person, the 55!! I regret riding the bicycle!! Never again. I was used to walking any way. Back to our meal. It was one of the best meals we've had in Paris. Lunch time with my daughter was memorable esp because she had two of her favorite Pakistan meals, the leg of lamb with mashed potatoes and coq au Vin. I missed eating coq au Vin, I used to make this dish often; it's so yummy and full of flavor!! This dish came with pasta. At home, I make mine with side rice and I add tons of mushrooms and other veggies. I saw few carrot slices. I like to add baby onions and chopped onions, too. Chicken was cooked to perfection and dipping the French bread slices to the sauce was delicious!! The staff were friendly, ambiance was nice and comfortable. It was a cool spot to have lunch/dinner. We keep missing out on lunch and have to combine it with dinner. I was happy we came here for our meal, as it was hard to find a place that makes Coq au Vin. And for dessert, we got the profiterole. It had ice cream in the center. It was delicious!! Thanks Louise's staff for a memorable meal with my daughter.

The food was quite good and served quickly. I really enjoyed the dressing on the salad. Service was excellent, the staff were friendly. Very cute café.

Amazing food, we got the Coq Au Van and Escargot and I would say, for American taste, Coq Au Van can be more flavorful, but with added salt, we still enjoyed it. Service was a bit slow so it did take us a while to get our food. The restaurant was also crowded and tiny. Other than that, great experience and I will visit again.

This spot is super close to the Louvre, and the owner is super friendly. It's one of the better places I've had in France, I believe they're known for their ratatouille. I don't think I've ever had ratatouille so I don't have much to compare to but it was okay. The beef tartar was one of the better tartars I've had, with a little bit of spicy flavor. The escargot was super flavorful and tasty. I got the burger, which was solid, however the bun did come pretty burnt. She did ask if I wanted it replaced, but I was already pretty much done with it so I said it was okay. Overall really solid food and great service!

Lovely place and lovely people! Was greeted super enthusiastically. (I'm assuming she's the owner) Speaks English very well and very fun to talk to! She has a great energy and it makes sense why this place is rated so high. Very attentive. We got the escargot and foie gras for appetizers and the burger dish, the ratatouille, the beef tartare and the duck dish. My favorite was the duck dish, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned nicely. Burger bun was kind of burnt, but she ask if we wanted to replace it.

Nothing but gratitude for this place. I was only in Paris for 1 day this summer. It was my first time in the city in 15 years but I needed to dash through on a day trip. I needed to find a lunch spot next to the Louvre but was worried I would have to settle for a tourist trap. This spot although just a few minutes from the Louvre gave me that true Paris meal experience during my 1 day in the city that I almost didn't dare to hope for. The Louise salad with chicken was probably the best salad I've ever had. The next time I find myself in Paris I will definitely remember this spot and come back.

Only five (walking) minutes away from the Louve. The best ratatouille. Definitely also get the steak tartare, it comes with a side of their incredible ratatouille and mashed potatoes made with French cream and French butter. Even the bread is delicious! Need a refreshing drink? Try the Rose Spritz. Service was friendly, helpful and speaks English.
